It was important to us that this project succeed. We love biking and shared our client’s desire for a place for local kids, teens and adults to safely hone their skills and take it to the next level. We also wanted to protect the trees on this forested site and support a healthy understory alongside the trails. To make this all happen, we assembled an interdisciplinary team of like-minded folks that included a biologist, archeologist, arborist, pro riders, expert manufacturers, local contractors and youth “test riders” (AKA our kids and their friends). We couldn’t be happier with the result: The park is a hub in the woods where families, cyclists, huckleberries, salal and cedar peacefully co-exist.
