A contemporary family home right in Ganges Village. The home includes a spacious kitchen, large skylights, family and guest spaces, a luxurious master bathroom, and energy saving features such as triple pane windows, a heat recovery ventilator (HRV) and a heat pump.
This gorgeous lakefront home was built for a busy, active family looking for an island refuge where they can slow down. The south-facing, 4-bedroom house includes a chef’s kitchen, luxurious bathrooms, extensive tilework, and a smart home system that allows remote climate and lighting controls.
A large-scale renovation turned a once humble small Panadode cabin into a large, five-bedroom family home. This house features a luxury master suite, a large vaulted great room, four car garage, shop and chef’s kitchen.
This stylish 700 sq. ft home makes small-living look and feel luxurious. Natural wood finishing, big windows, high ceilings, a large deck and sliding glass doors blend the inside with the outside, and invite in the light and views.
The architect-engineer owners designed this cabin to have a light touch on the forest. A custom steel and concrete foundation system suspends the house above grade to avoid disrupting the native soil, slope and flora. The few trees that were removed were carefully selected following consultation with the Salt Spring Island Conservancy which manages adjacent conservation lands. The compact cabin features birch plywood interior finishes and built-in storage for durability and a contemporary aesthetic. The exterior siding and colour were selected to blend in with the trees.
Locally designed and built with great care to showcase the owner’s love for gardening, food and art. A unique curved ceiling defines the inside space while generous patios, decks, gardens and a natural swimming pool create a true sense of retreat.
